The epidemiological situation is stable, with a low number of new cases detected. However, the virus continues to circulate at a low level on the island. Furthermore, transmission has been identified in new areas that were previously free of the virus.

Alert level 2B* remains in effect: "Identification of several geographically distinct clusters of locally transmitted cases."
