Reunion Island: Helping People Recover by Providing Access to Housing [Interview].

The Réunion-based organization Allons Déor has launched the Gagn'1 Kaz program, which provides independent housing for people experiencing homelessness who are struggling with mental health issues. This initiative demonstrates that access to stable, affordable housing is a key factor in recovery for people who have spent long periods living on the streets and have undergone repeated psychiatric hospitalizations. This initiative is now part of a broader program: Housing First in Réunion.
