Reunion Island: A network of professionals working to combat fetal alcohol syndrome.

On Réunion, 600 health and social services professionals are working together within the Réunisaf network to prevent fetal alcohol syndrome. Their work involves listening, monitoring, and providing community-based care, and the initial results are undeniable. However, challenges remain, including the taboo surrounding alcohol use among women and the reluctance of some professionals to participate in this initiative.
