Bronchiolitis: The outbreak remains very active in the region, with nearly 300 emergency room visits in week 2015-52 (of which just under 50% resulted in hospitalization). SOS Médecins visits are also very numerous, exceeding the levels observed at the peak of last winter’s outbreak.

Bronchitis: A very sharp increase in bronchitis-related activity during week 2015-52, both in hospitals and in community settings across the Languedoc-Roussillon region.

Asthma: Emergency room visits in the Languedoc-Roussillon region have increased in parallel with those for bronchiolitis and bronchitis. SOS Médecins associations in the region have also seen more patients with asthma in recent weeks.

Gastroenteritis: very high activity at the SOS Médecins associations in Nîmes and Perpignan. Although there has been a slight increase in emergency room activity for this reason, it remains minor.

Flu: Flu activity remains low in France and Europe. However, there has been an increase in activity in southern France, particularly in the Languedoc-Roussillon and Midi-Pyrénées regions.
