2014 Regional Health Surveillance Day: June 17, 2014 The Midi-Pyrénées Regional Health Agency and the Institute for Health Surveillance will host the 3rd Regional Health Surveillance Day on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, in Toulouse (Belvédère Room). This event is intended for all professionals involved in health surveillance in Midi-Pyrénées, including those involved in generating health signals, processing these signals, and managing alert situations (private and hospital-based physicians, emergency physicians, medical testing laboratories, PMI, school health, occupational health, environmental health, CClin and Arlin, coordinating physicians for nursing homes, medical-social institutions, associations, ARS and InVS staff, etc.). Its objective is to promote the involvement of healthcare professionals in order to improve regional health surveillance systems. Through the presentation of regional initiatives and concrete experiences, it will provide an opportunity to showcase the health surveillance and alert system and to strengthen the role of each healthcare stakeholder. The day will be structured around four sessions:
The organization of surveillance in the region and the contribution of healthcare professionals to reporting and notification,
Emergency services at the heart of the surveillance system: the Oscour® network,
Surveillance and response to health alerts: a multidisciplinary approach,
Addressing new challenges in the field of health surveillance.
