Key Points
Overall SOS Médecins Activity: Week 2013-37 (and particularly the weekend of September 14–15) was marked by an increase in consultations with doctors from the Perpignan and Nîmes chapters. This increase was particularly evident among children under 15 (+39% compared to the previous week), with significant increases mainly in diagnoses related to respiratory and ENT conditions.
Gastroenteritis: low activity
Respiratory diseases (asthma, pneumonia, bronchitis/bronchiolitis): low activity in emergency departments for the diseases monitored here and a slight increase in activity regarding bronchitis for SOS Médecins, across all age groups
Surveillance of vector-borne diseases: no locally acquired cases of chikungunya or dengue have been reported in Languedoc-Roussillon.
