The number of new hospitalizations continued to rise in week 45 (+5%), while the number of admissions to intensive care units, reflecting severe cases, remained stable. The number of hospital deaths increased in week 45 compared to week 44 (+30%). These trends varied across the region’s departments, with hospital indicators continuing to rise in several departments. Indicators of viral circulation in the general population were decreasing at the regional level and in several departments, though they remained at high levels. However, indicators were still rising in Lot and Lozère. Despite indicators declining compared to previous
weeks, viral transmission across the region remains active.
