Chikungunya and dengue: enhanced surveillanceSince May 1, 152 suspected cases have been reported. Among them, 57 cases of chikungunya, 26 cases of dengue, and 3 confirmed co-infections, all imported. As of October 10, 2014, 4 locally acquired cases of dengue fever have been identified in mainland France: 2 in the Var department (unrelated cases) and 2 in the Bouches-du-Rhône department (related cases constituting an outbreak). No new locally acquired cases have been reported since October 3, 2014.
