Mortality
: Following the moderate increase observed in civil registry data in Q4 2022, the number of deaths has declined and returned to levels comparable to those seen since September.
Emergency department visits by vulnerable populations
No significant changes in emergency department visits for children under 1 year of age and adults over 75 years of age, with figures close to expected levels.
Reportable Diseases (MDO)
No significant changes, except for the persistently high incidence of IIM in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques.
Enterovirus
meningitis Circulation of the virus in Aquitaine according to the virology department at Bordeaux University Hospital and emergency department visits for enterovirus meningitis.
Acute gastroenteritis (AGE) AGE
activity in hospital and pre-hospital emergency departments (SOS Médecins) remains stable in Aquitaine, with low case numbers similar to previous years.
Influenza and influenza-like illnesses
Influenza activity comparable to the previous week. Surveillance of severe influenza cases admitted to intensive care resumed on November 1. So far, no severe cases admitted to intensive care have been reported.
Bronchiolitis
Activity is stable in Aquitaine according to SOS Médecins and Oscour®; it is on the rise nationally according to SOS Médecins. AquiRespi treated 68 children during the shift from November 1 to 3 (including 59 over the first two days, a figure half that of the same period last year).
Vector-borne diseases
In Lot-et-Garonne, under enhanced surveillance for chikungunya and dengue, no significant developments to note (total remains unchanged at 2 confirmed imported cases of dengue).
Mushroom poisoning
Since July 2013, the outbreak has continued in Aquitaine with a total of 70 cases according to CAPTV and 18 according to Oscour® (1,033 and 372 in France); 3 deaths in France (0 in Aquitaine).
Carbon monoxide poisoning
Since September 2013, 2 incidents and 2 people transported to emergency rooms in Aquitaine (119 incidents and 257 people nationwide).
