Mortality: The number of recorded deaths remains in line with the figures typically observed during this period.
Emergency room visits by vulnerable populations: Emergency room activity for children under 1 year of age is declining but remains close to the alert threshold. No significant changes for those over 75 years of age.

Acute gastroenteritis (AGE)Activity continues to rise across all age groups, both in Aquitaine and throughout France, according to the Oscour® network and SOS Médecins associations.
Influenza and influenza-like illnesses: Increase in consultations for influenza-like illnesses in outpatient care and hospitals. The same increase is observed in several European countries. Pre-epidemic situation comparable to the 2012-2013 season.
Bronchiolitis: Activity remains high according to the Oscour® network and SOS Médecins in both France and Aquitaine; 280 cases were treated by the AquiRespi network during the last on-call shift.
Enterovirus meningitis and virology: Increased circulation of seasonal respiratory viruses according to Bordeaux University Hospital, particularly RSV and rhinovirus.
Mushroom poisoning (indicator not detailed in the body of the document)Since July, in Aquitaine, 106 cases according to CAPTV and 21 according to Oscour® (1,213 and 479 in France).
Carbon monoxide poisoning (as of 12/31/14): Since September 2014, 17 incidents of CO poisoning affecting 67 people in Aquitaine. Nationally, 19 deaths have been recorded since September 2014.
