A moderate increase in emergency department visits by children under 1 year of age, with figures consistent with those typically observed during this period. No significant changes for those over 75 years of age.

No new cases of IIM C in the region.

Virology and enterovirus meningitis
Current circulation of seasonal respiratory viruses according to Bordeaux University Hospital; persistent circulation of enteroviruses correlated with observed enterovirus meningitis cases.

Acute gastroenteritis (AGE)
Activity slightly up in Aquitaine according to SOS Médecins and Oscour®. In France, activity is rising among those under 15, though overall lower than in previous seasons.

Influenza and influenza-like illnesses
Influenza activity comparable to the previous week.

Bronchiolitis:
Start of the epidemic observed in Aquitaine and France according to SOS Médecins and Oscour® activity. Increase in AquiRespi cases (114 children on 11/30 and 12/1).

Vector-borne diseases
End of the 2013 enhanced surveillance for chikungunya and dengue in Lot-et-Garonne. In total, 2 imported cases of dengue were confirmed by the CNR.

Mushroom
poisoning cases Continue to decline in Aquitaine, with a total of 73 cases reported by CAPTV and 22 by Oscour® since July 2013.

Carbon monoxide poisoning
Since September 2013, 4 incidents involving 7 people, 5 of whom were transported to the emergency room (national level: 312 incidents, 940 people exposed, and 7 deaths).

School
Absenteeism: An upward trend, with a few reported cases of gastroenteritis and flu-like symptoms.
