The Health of Travellers. Living and Housing Conditions, Health Status, Access to Healthcare and Preventive Care. 2019–2022 Findings: A Study in Nouvelle-Aquitaine

This document presents the key findings of the first epidemiological study in France involving Travellers. It was conducted by Santé publique France in partnership with Fnasat-Gens du voyage and its member associations, Travellers, and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Regional Health Agency (ARS). A total of 1,030 adults and 337 children aged 7 to 13, all Travellers residing in Gironde, Creuse, Charente, and Charente-Maritime, participated in the study between November 2019 and March 2022. The study was well received: 74% of those surveyed agreed to participate.
