Emergency department visit data from the Oscour® network

  • The monthly number of emergency room visits was generally higher between January and November 2021 compared to the same period in previous years for the 7 Oscour® indicators presented.

  • Among children, an increase in the number of visits for psychological disorders was observed from January to November 2021 compared to 2020 (+31.5%), 2019 (+11.1%), and 2018 during the same period (+21.9%)

Medical procedure data from the SOS Médecins associations

Due to a nationwide strike by SOS Médecins medical staff and the suspension of data transmission since November 24, 2021, the data may be underestimated for the month of November 2021.

  • SOS Médecins consultations for anxiety remained stable between 2020 and 2021 (January through November) but increased compared to 2019 (+21.6%) and 2018 over the same period (+29.4%).
