During the period from June 5 to 9, no specific health incidents related to the various commemorative events were reported to the ARS/Cire surveillance platform. Overall activity in emergency departments remained consistent with that observed in previous weeks, on an equivalent-day basis, both at the regional level and for the predefined group of facilities. Regarding the SOS Médecins associations in the region, an increase in activity was observed throughout the Pentecost weekend, particularly for the Caen-based association, though no specific health-related incidents were reported. In total, across the entire surveillance system, 215 cases related to the commemorations were reported to healthcare and emergency services. Among these cases, most involved fainting spells (n=73) and accidental injuries, whether or not resulting from a fall (n=72). The majority of reports (71.6%) were submitted by first-aid teams and medical assistance personnel present at the various commemoration sites (n=154).
