  • LABM (3 labs): 15.7% positive tests (Week S, 15.8% in Week S-1)

*W/W-1: for week W (April 6–12, 2020) and week W-1 (March 30–April 5, 2020)

Surveillance in long-term care facilities, including nursing homes

  • 1,059 cases, including 40 deaths reported as of April 14, 2020, among residents in long-term care facilities

  • 307 cases, including 3 deaths reported as of April 14, 2020, among residents in other long-term care facilities

Hospital surveillance

  • Oscour® Network: 557 visits for suspected COVID-19 per 10,000 (Week S, 875 in Week S-1)

  • Hospital laboratories: 14.9% of tests positive (S, 17.1% in S-1)

  • Sentinel intensive care units: 56% of cases aged 65 and older, and 65% of cases with at least one risk factor

Mortality surveillance

  • Moderate excess mortality detected through week S-1

  • People aged 65 and older are predominantly affected
