Oscour® Network Emergency Department Visit Indicators:

• The proportion of emergency department visits for mental health issues among adults in the first half of 2023 has decreased compared to 2022. The proportion of these visits within overall emergency department activity remained stable between the first and second quarters of 2023.

• The proportion of emergency department visits for mental health issues among children in the first half of 2023 is slightly higher than in 2022. An increase in activity was observed between the first and second quarters of 2023 among children under 11 years of age.

• The proportion of emergency department visits for suicidal ideation in the first half of 2023 remains higher than in previous years, including 2022.

• The proportion of emergency room visits for suicide attempts among those over 11 years old remains generally stable in the first half of 2023.
