COVID-19
COVID-19 surveillance based on emergency department visit data (SOS Médecins & Oscour®):
Emergency department visits (Oscour®) related to COVID-19 remained stable compared to the previous week. The proportion of SOS Médecins cases decreased compared to previous weeks. The number of visits followed by hospitalizations remained stable in Week 40 (148) compared to the previous week (142).
Virological surveillance (Néo-SIDEP):
A 3% decrease in cases of infection (positive* SARS-CoV-2 samples by RT-PCR and antigen tests) in Week 40 compared to the previous week. The testing rate is 140 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

Indicators rising sharply in SOS Médecins associations
Indicators on the rise in hospital emergency departments
The percentage of children hospitalized after visiting the emergency room is lower than in previous years
The detection rate of RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) in hospitals remains low but is increasing. Other viruses capable of causing bronchiolitis are currently circulating, particularly rhinoviruses
Following a slowdown in activity at hospital emergency departments and low, stable activity at SOS Médecins in Week 39, the proportion of healthcare visits for bronchiolitis in Week 40 exceeded epidemic thresholds
The Île-de-France region entered an epidemic phase in week 40
Influenza
Decrease in indicators across all age groups at SOS Médecins
Indicators stable in hospital emergency departments; low number of hospitalizations
Stable incidence of acute respiratory infections (ARI) for the Sentinelles network
