Summary

In Week 51:

• For influenza, a marked increase in visits to hospital emergency rooms and, for the first time this season, the national epidemic threshold was crossed. As of December 27, 14 cases of influenza had been reported by intensive care units;

• for gastroenteritis, the national epidemic threshold was exceeded in the region for the first time this season;

• For bronchiolitis, the epidemic continued to subside;

• a marked increase in calls to SOS Médecins, particularly in connection with the end-of-year school holidays.
