Key Points

COVID-19

  • Viral circulation was declining across all age groups. Recombinant strains remained the most prevalent.

  • Emergency room visits remained stable, as did SOS Médecins calls.

  • Hospitalizations for or related to COVID-19 continued to decline. Admissions to intensive care and hospital deaths related to COVID-19 remained stable.

  • Reports and cases in long-term care facilities were declining (staff and residents).

Gastroenteritis and acute diarrhea

  • Stabilization of indicators at SOS Médecins and hospital emergency departments

  • Increase in indicators for the Sentinelles network

  • Moderate activity level in hospital emergency departments and low activity at SOS Médecins

Influenza and influenza-like illnesses

  • Decrease in surveillance indicators at SOS Médecins and hospital emergency departments. Stabilization of indicators for the Sentinelles network.

  • Sample sizes among those aged 75 and older are too small to quantify trends.

  • End of the epidemic in the Île-de-France region.
