Lonely students have become better integrated [interview]
Since the start of the 2024–2025 school year, about 20 student ambassadors from the Phare program have been working to prevent bullying at Rosa Parks High School in Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis). Attentive to their peers, they have been trained to identify signs of students who are isolated or struggling so they can refer them to adults who can provide support. While the medium-term effects are not yet measurable, the initiative appears to be contributing to a better school climate, thanks to greater mutual support and kindness among students.
