Dengue

  • Dengue circulation remains at a sub-epidemic level in S35-36. The level of circulation is low and stable throughout French Guiana.

Malaria

  • The number of malaria cases diagnosed in the healthcare system remained low over the past two weeks, with a total of 3 P. vivax cases reported, including 2 in week 35 and 1 in week 36. Among these, 1 was a relapse.

Acute respiratory infections (bronchiolitis, COVID-19, influenza)

  • An increase in the circulation of ARIs is observed in private practice, while a decrease in emergency department visits is reported by coastal hospitals. Influenza, RSV in infants, and SARS-CoV-2 are circulating at low levels.

Diarrhea

  • Activity is at a high level, increasing in coastal primary care settings and in inland regions (CDPS and local hospitals).
