Bronchiolitis

  • In emergency departments, visits for bronchiolitis are beginning to decline: they accounted for 17% of all visits in week 01-2026, compared to 21.1% of visits in week 52-2025. However, SOS Médecins consultations remain stable in week 01-2026: they account for 11.8% of all consultations, compared to 9.9% in week 52-2025.

Flu and Flu-Like Illnesses

  • The flu epidemic remains active. The proportion of emergency room visits for flu-like symptoms has remained stable over the past two weeks: it stands at 4.6% in week 01-2026 compared to 4.4% in week 52-2025. The proportion of flu-like illnesses among SOS Médecins consultations, meanwhile, appears to be starting to decline: it fell from 20.8% in week 52-2025 to 18.8% in week 01-2026. Among those under 15, the indicators are down.

COVID-19

  • Both in hospitals and in the community, the number of patients seeking care for suspected COVID-19 remains low (<1% of total activity).

Acute Gastroenteritis

  • Visits to emergency rooms and SOS Médecins consultations are fluctuating at levels typical for the season.
