Bronchiolitis

  • In week 50 of 2025, the rise in bronchiolitis indicators, which began in week 45 of 2025, continues. Bronchiolitis accounts for 20% of emergency room visits and 13% of SOS Médecins consultations.

Influenza and influenza-like illnesses

  • All indicators for influenza-like illness continue to rise. The rate of emergency department visits rose from 1.2% in Week 49-2025 to 2.1% in Week 50-2025, and the rate of SOS Médecins consultations rose from 10% to 13%. Virology data also show an increase in the circulation of influenza A. The region has been in an epidemic phase since Week 49-2025.

COVID-19

  • Seekings of care for suspected COVID-19 remain at low levels (<1% of total activity), both in hospitals and in private practice. However, the Sum’eau indicator has increased for the fourth consecutive week.

Acute Gastroenteritis

  • SOS Médecins consultations and emergency room visits are trending upward, though they remain within the usual seasonal fluctuations.
