Key Findings

  • The peak of the flu epidemic was reached in week 7, and a decline in consultations for flu-like illness is being observed in mainland France.

  • In Lorraine, flu activity has been stable for several weeks, but a downward trend has not yet been observed.

  • Both nationally and regionally, influenza activity remains low this season compared to previous ones.

  • The circulating viruses are type A(H1N1)pdm09 and A(H3N2).

  • Although of lower intensity, bronchiolitis activity persists in Lorraine.

  • Gastroenteritis activity has remained stable in Lorraine over the past few weeks.
