Epidemiological Surveillance in the Alsace Region. Update as of August 29, 2013.

Highlights

  • The activities of the SOS Médecins associations in Strasbourg and Mulhouse were largely unaffected by the August 15 long weekend in week 33.

  • The number of diagnoses of heat-related conditions was virtually zero for both associations in the region during weeks 33 and 34 (August 12–25).

  • Over the past two weeks, the number of asthma diagnoses has been very low for both associations in Alsace, and the number of allergy cases has remained within the usual range.

  • According to the National Aerobiological Surveillance Network (RNSA), the allergy risk is low for the region.
