  • In Week 48, SARS-CoV-2 circulation intensified in the Centre-Val de Loire region. Virological indicators (calculated based on antigen tests alone) were on the rise, while hospital indicators remained stable.

  • Positivity rate (PR) and incidence rate (IR) from antigen tests were rising. Higher IR and PR among those aged 15–44 and 45–64.

  • The BA.5 sublineage has been stable and predominant since week S24; there has been an increase in the proportion of the new BQ1.1 sublineage among sequenced tests.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Activity remains stable at SOS Médecins and hospital emergency departments

Bronchiolitis

  • 8th week of the epidemic: activity rising at SOS Médecins and declining in hospital emergency departments

Influenza and influenza-like illness

  • 1st week of the epidemic: transition to the rising activity phase at SOS Médecins and hospital emergency departments
