Key Points

Asthma and ENT ConditionsDecrease in asthma-related visits across all age groups, in emergency departments, and for SOS Médecins. Levels observed above seasonal averages. Continued high activity in hospital emergency departments and SOS Médecins for ENT conditions. Circulation of rhinovirus/enterovirus: 40% of respiratory samples tested positive (23/58) at the Virology Laboratory of the Brest University Hospital.

Influenza and influenza-like illness: Low numbers of emergency department visits and SOS Médecins consultations, within seasonal averages. At the Brest University Hospital Laboratory, type A influenza viruses were isolated in 9 respiratory specimens (out of 62 tested).
