Activity outside of an epidemic. Decrease in hospital emergency room visits and stability in SOS Médecins consultations. Virology laboratories at the region’s university hospitals report low detection of RSV. Other viruses capable of causing bronchiolitis are circulating, notably rhinoviruses.
COVID-19
Low activity.
Influenza and influenza-like illness
Post-epidemic activity. Decrease in the number of emergency room visits and SOS Médecins consultations for influenza and influenza-like illness. Decrease in the detection of influenza A virus according to data from the virology laboratories at the Rennes University Hospital and the Brest University Hospital.
Gastroenteritis
High activity. Slight decrease in emergency room visits and stable SOS Médecins consultations across all age groups.
Pneumonia
Slight decrease in emergency room visits and stable SOS Médecins consultations for pneumonia.
Asthma
High activity. Slight decrease in emergency room visits and SOS Médecins consultations, all ages.
