Key Points
COVID-19
Increase in the incidence rate (IR) calculated based on PCR and antigen tests. The regional IR rose from 2,476.4 per 100,000 inhabitants in S02 to 3,301.6 per 100,000 inhabitants in S03. IRs exceed 3,500 per 100,000 inhabitants in Ille-et-Vilaine and Morbihan: +805 points in Côtes d’Armor, +623 points in Finistère, +936 points in Ille-et-Vilaine, and +925 points in Morbihan. The COVID epidemiological situation continues to deteriorate at the regional level, with over 99% of tests suggesting the presence of Omicron. The incidence rate (IR) and positivity rate (PR) are rising, against a backdrop of declining case rates and new hospitalizations in general care, increased use of emergency rooms and SOS Médecins, and stabilization of admissions to critical care. Estimated vaccination coverage by place of residence stands at 84.0% for a single dose and 82.5% for a full course.
