COVID-19
Improvement in the regional COVID epidemiological situation: A sharp decrease in the incidence rate (IR) and testing rate, accompanied by a slight decrease in the positivity rate (PR). The regional IR has dropped from 3,474.6 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 4 to 2,678.8 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 5. IRs are above 2,500 per 100,000 inhabitants in all four departments: -588 points in Côtes d’Armor, -447 points in Finistère, -1,130 points in Ille-et-Vilaine, and -899 points in Morbihan. Decrease in new general hospital admissions, critical care admissions, emergency room visits, and calls to SOS Médecins. Estimated vaccination coverage by place of residence stands at 84.3% for one dose and 83.0% for a full course.
Bronchiolitis
Non-epidemic activity. Overall decline in indicators.
Influenza
Pre-epidemic activity. Overall increase in indicators.
Gastroenteritis
High activity according to emergency department data, and moderate activity according to SOS Médecins data. Increased circulation of rotavirus according to data from the virology laboratories at the University Hospitals of Rennes and Brest.
