Situation in Rhône-Alpes

Carbon Monoxide Poisonings Following the snowstorm in week 47 (between November 18 and 24), power outages led to a very high number of carbon monoxide poisonings. In fact, 17 cases of poisoning were reported during that week, 60% of which occurred in Isère. Forty-five people were exposed, 41 of whom were transferred to an emergency department. In Isère, the scale of the incident was exceptional, with 10 cases of poisoning accounting for 43% of all cases reported in 2012. Adherence to best practices, particularly regarding the use of generators, is essential.

Bronchiolitis: The number of bronchiolitis cases reported by SOS Médecins associations in the region has been increasing over the past two weeks.
