The number of reports of clusters of Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) in Nursing Homes for the Elderly (EHPAD) has risen sharply since Week 6 (February 6–12), peaking during Week 7 (February 13–19).The outbreaks for which etiological investigations were conducted are primarily linked to influenza. We remind you that control measures must be implemented as soon as possible to limit the spread of an outbreak within the facility.
