Hospital surveillance

SI-VIC: 2,299 people hospitalized, including 296 in intensive care as of May 6, 2020
Sentinel intensive care units: 58% of cases are aged 65 and older, 73% are men, 71% have ARDS, and 63% of cases have at least one risk factor.
Mortality monitoring
Excess mortality from all causes is lower in week 17 (+6%) than in previous weeks and not significant as of May 5.
67% of those who died in the hospital are over 80 years old.
