Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation
Flu-like illnesses: The epidemic continues, and the first severe case of type A/H3N2 has been reported. Furthermore, the virus circulating most widely in community practice is type A/H3N2.
Gastroenteritis: The number of cases is increasing among general practitioners and in emergency departments. Data from the coming weeks will help confirm whether or not an epidemic has begun.
Bronchiolitis: The number of emergency department visits continues to rise, but the number of visits to general practitioners remains stable.
Chickenpox: The epidemiological situation regarding chickenpox is calm.
