All epidemiological indicators show that the dengue epidemic has continued and remains active in Saint Martin over the past two weeks (2013-35 and 36). The widespread prevalence of the DENV-4 serotype, which has been absent from Saint Martin for eight years, may help explain the duration of the epidemic. The dengue situation in Saint Martin remains that of a confirmed epidemic: Phase 3 of the Psage**.
