Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation

During the month of February, surveillance of flu-like illnesses among general practitioners recorded an average of 5 consultations per week. These figures, which are below the maximum values expected for the season, did not confirm the increases observed in late December and early January. To prevent the flu: Wash your hands, preferably with liquid soap; use a disposable tissue when blowing your nose, coughing, sneezing, or spitting, and throw it away immediately. Open windows regularly to ventilate and reduce the concentration of germs. This year, the flu vaccination campaign has been extended until February 28: there is still time to protect yourself from the flu!
