Epidemiological Situation of Influenza in Martinique. Update as of April 2, 2013.

Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation

The decline in the flu epidemic continues in Martinique. The weekly number of suspected cases has fallen below the peak expected for the season, which occurred in the third week of March. If this trend continues, the end of the epidemic could be declared shortly. Co-circulation of Influenza A/H3, A(H1N1)pdm09, and B viruses is currently being observed in the region. The incidence of the disease (S2013-12) is 235 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
