Epidemiological Situation of Dengue Fever in Martinique. Update as of July 11, 2013.

Situation Analysis

Across the department, epidemiological surveillance indicators for dengue fever showed a slight decrease in week 2013-27, without exceeding the maximum values expected for the season. The dengue outbreak in the municipality of Trinité remains active, and three new outbreaks have emerged more recently (two in Saint Joseph and one in Fort-de-France). Vector control measures are underway, and a targeted operation is planned for this weekend. The epidemiological situation of dengue in Martinique corresponds to Phase 2, Level 1 of the Psage dengue protocol: isolated outbreak(s).
