Analysis of the Epidemiological Situation

During the ^fourth week of June (W2013-26), the weekly number of clinically suggestive cases was below the expected peak for the period for the first time since the start of the outbreak, while the number of laboratory-confirmed dengue cases remained stable and stayed well above expected peak levels. The epidemic continues in this region, where the epidemiological situation still corresponds to Phase 4 of the Psage: "epidemic phase."
