Dengue Surveillance in Martinique. Update as of June 26, 2020.
Epidemiological Situation
All epidemiological surveillance indicators for dengue indicate that viral circulation remains at a high level in Martinique. The spatial distribution of biologically confirmed cases shows a continued intensification and spread of viral circulation across much of the territory, except in the far north of the island, which appears to have been spared so far.
The Management Committee met on June 5, 2020, and approved the proposal from the Technical Committee for Dengue Monitoring to move to the confirmed dengue epidemic phase (Phase 4, Level 1 of the PSAGE*).
