Dengue Surveillance in Martinique. Update as of July 23, 2020.

Epidemiological Situation

Epidemiological surveillance indicators for dengue fever show that the epidemic is continuing in Martinique. The Central and Northern regions are currently heavily affected by viral circulation, based on clinically suggestive cases estimated from reports by the sentinel physician network. In addition to the municipalities of Le Robert and Le Carbet in the North, which are reporting high incidence rates, four municipalities in the South continue to be significantly affected by the epidemic: Sainte-Anne, Sainte-Luce, Le Diamant, and Le Marin.
Martinique is currently at Phase 4, Level 1 of the PSAGE* dengue alert system: confirmed epidemic.
