Epidemiological Situation

In Guadeloupe, since the start of the outbreak (mid-October 2019), nearly 4,360 cases clinically suggestive of dengue have been seen in outpatient settings. Surveillance indicators (outpatient, hospital) remain high for this period.

In Saint Martin, surveillance indicators remain high, with about 60 clinical cases and about 10 laboratory-confirmed cases each week, except for the last week, based on data that is not yet consolidated. These figures therefore indicate that an epidemic situation persists.

In Saint Barthélemy, the circulation of the virus is confirmed on the island with the identification of twelve laboratory-confirmed cases between December 2019 and January 2020. The situation requires close monitoring.
