  • 57 locally acquired cases have been identified in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.

Notifiable diseases

At the regional level, Santé publique France is monitoring four notifiable diseases with epidemic potential: hepatitis A, invasive meningococcal disease, Legionnaires’ disease, and measles. As of May 5, 2026:

  • 52 cases of hepatitis A
  • 23 cases of invasive meningococcal disease
  • 79 cases of Legionnaires’ disease
  • 4 cases of measles

Mortality 

  • Between weeks 13 and 17 (March 23 to April 26, 2026), no significant excess mortality was observed.
