Physical Activity Among Adults Aged 55 to 75: An Analysis.
The 2008 Health and Nutrition Barometer, a general population survey conducted by the National Institute for Prevention and Health Education (INPES), provided an opportunity to analyze the physical activity of people aged 55 to 75 from several perspectives. Thus, their physical activity levels are not so different from those of younger adults. They are more aware of the recommendations than younger adults, but since this awareness has little correlation with their actual activity levels, it highlights the need to also address environmental factors.
