The results of the INPES 2000 Health Barometer presented here show that people with asthma perceive their environment differently because of their condition: they are more concerned about the effects of air pollution and are more bothered by secondhand smoke. Their participation in sports and their exercise tolerance were also studied.[article excerpt]
