Launch of the Health, Sexuality, and Prevention Survey from February 16 to March 31, 2017
Given that condoms are no longer the only means of protecting oneself against HIV, Santé publique France is conducting a survey from February 16 to March 31, 2017, designed to describe and understand the sexual behaviors and prevention strategies adopted by men who have sex with men.
A survey to better understand the use of combination prevention
The epidemiological situation regarding HIV and STIs remains a serious concern for men who have sex with men, despite the many advances in recent years that have made HIV and STI prevention more tailored to individual lifestyles.
The "Rapport au sexe" Health-Sexuality-Prevention survey will help tailor information to the needs of men who have sex with men. Reliable and relevant information will enable them to better utilize the various prevention tools and thus choose the prevention strategy best suited to their situation.
Who is this for? Gay and bisexual men over the age of 18, residing in France (including overseas departments), who have sex with other men. This survey will be conducted annually, and the initial results will be released in late 2017.
