Memorandum from the Directorate General for Health (DGS) and the French Institute for Public Health Surveillance (InVS) regarding the case definition of invasive meningococcal infections and their reporting

This notice from the DGS and the InVS provides the new definition of cases of invasive meningococcal disease that must be reported immediately to health authorities and require the implementation of prophylaxis among close contacts. It announces the publication of a circular incorporating this new definition, which will include as an appendix the new interim mandatory reporting form for invasive meningococcal infections.
