    • Increase in SARS-CoV-2 circulation

    • Significant increase in the positivity rate among all tested individuals, particularly among symptomatic patients

    • Triple increase in the number of cases among those aged 65 and older over 6 weeks

    • Increase in the number of cases in long-term care facilities

    • Increase in hospitalizations, new ICU admissions, and deaths

    • Increase in the number of people tested

    • Variation in indicators across regions

    • 78 departments at high risk and 17 at moderate risk

  • Overseas territories:

    • High vulnerability level: Martinique—continued increase; Guadeloupe—decrease; French Guiana—stabilization

    • Moderate vulnerability level: Mayotte: increasing trend; Réunion: decreasing

  • Prevention: physical distancing (maintain at least one meter between people; greet others without shaking hands or kissing), hygiene measures (wash hands regularly; cough into your elbow), limit gatherings, wear a mask, and regularly ventilate enclosed spaces. Isolate if symptoms develop and get tested as soon as possible.
