Key Points

Acute respiratory infections (ARI)

  • Increased activity in the city, particularly among children, and decreasing activity in hospitals.

Influenza

  • Increased influenza activity in urban areas across France. The epidemic is severe, with very high hospital activity and a marked increase in deaths. Co-circulation of the three influenza viruses A(H1N1)pdm09, A(H3N2), and B/Victoria.

Bronchiolitis

  • Decrease in most indicators. In mainland France, 5 regions are in the epidemic phase, 7 regions are in the post-epidemic phase. In the overseas departments and regions (DROMs), the epidemic continues in Martinique, French Guiana, and Mayotte. Guadeloupe is in the post-epidemic phase.

COVID-19

  • Activity remains stable at low levels.
