Survival Rates for People with Cancer in Metropolitan France, 1989–2018 - Salivary Glands

In France, for the year 2018, the estimated number of new cases of salivary gland cancer was 765, including 437 in men and 328 in women. Key points: The 5-year age-standardized net survival rate was 61% for men and 72% for women diagnosed between 2010 and 2015; Lower 5-year net survival among older patients: dropping from 89% at age 30 to 55% at age 80; Low excess mortality for all age groups, 5 years after diagnosis.
